Vibetrade ("Vibetrade", "we", "us" or "our") operates Vibetrade, a mobile and web application to build and manage stock trading bots (the "Vibetrade Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how Vibetrade processes personal information that we collect through the Vibetrade Platform and any other digital or online properties or services that link to this Privacy Policy (including as applicable, our website and social media pages) as well as our marketing activities and other activities described in this Privacy Policy (collectively with the Vibetrade Platform, the "Service").

Personal information we collect

- Contact information, such as your name and email address, when you create an account, contact us, or sign up for updates.
- Account credentials, such as your password or authentication tokens used to access your account.

- Brokerage connection data, such as OAuth tokens when you connect your brokerage account (e.g., Alpaca) to enable trading functionality. We do not store your brokerage login credentials.
Information collected automatically
We collect certain information automatically when you use the Service. This data is not linked to your identity:
- Usage data, including product interaction data (features used, actions taken, screens viewed) and other usage patterns that help us understand how the Service is used.
- Diagnostics, including crash data and performance data to identify and fix technical issues.
- Identifiers, such as a unique user ID generated by our systems to maintain your session and provide the Service.
- Device information, such as device type, operating system version, and app version.
Tracking Technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on our web properties to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand usage patterns. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we may retain certain data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.

- Service providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting (Cloudflare), authentication (Supabase), and brokerage integration (Alpaca). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

- With your consent: When you direct us to share information with third parties.

- Account information: You can update your account information through the app settings.
- Delete your account: You can request account deletion by contacting us. We will delete your personal information, subject to our retention obligations.
- Communications: You can opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages.
- Cookies: You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Other sites and services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as your brokerage). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International data transfers
We are based in the United States and process data primarily in the US. If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. For European users, see the Notice to European Users section below for information about safeguards we use for international transfers.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
